Just rewrote a large chunk of the code to be easier to work with. This should make development much easier long term than it otherwise would've been. Also added some new things sprinkled around here and there. :3

What is Ares?

Ares is a tower defense game.

How much will Ares cost?

Not quite sure, I don't currently have a way of obtaining the money gained so it might end up being free. But if I do have a way to obtain the money I do want to make sure it's affordable to everyone.

How long has Ares been in development?

Ares has technically been in development since 2021 but it has had multiple reboots and switches in game engine in that time. The latest and hopefully final switch was to godot in May 2025. Still quite the newbie to gamedev. I apologize if anyone has been disappointed or irritated by this. :,3

When will Ares be available?

I hope to release a demo some time around late 2025 to early 2026. As for the official release I'm still unsure.

What platforms will Ares be available on?

Ares is currently being developed for Windows and Linux, but I might bring it to Android if you're lucky.

What are the system requirements for Ares?

Not sure yet.

What is Ares being developed in?

I'm making it in Godot using GDcript.
